Stuart Jamieson, CP-TA Treasurer and Secretary

Stuart Jamieson is Secretary and Treasurer of the Communications Platforms Trade Association.

Stuart Jamieson is the Director of Industry Relations/Architect with Emerson Network Power, Embedded Computing. Within this role he currently represents Emerson on a number of PICMG committees, CP-TA, and the SCOPE organisation. He brings over 19 years of experience in hardware, protocols, embedded software, and specification development to these groups. Within Emerson, he played a key role in the development of the technology central to Emerson’s bundled networking solutions. Stuart’s positions within Emerson have included Director of Business Development, and Director of Advanced Technology and Architect. He previously served as the Draft Editor for the PICMG MicroTCA Specification and is currently the author of the introduction section for the new PICMG Ruggedised MicroTCA specification.

Stuart graduated from the Heriot-Watt University in 1989 with a 1st Class Honors degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and again in 1992 with an IBM-sponsored Master of Philosophy.
