Our cohorts over at SA Forum have a new campaign detailing the business case for COTS. They recently kicked off an Application Webcast Series which aims to educate viewers on implementing open specifications for carrier-grade and mission-critical applications and systems. The latest Webcast, “A Business Case for COTS Service Availability,” shows viewers how development models based on COTS can save up to 18 months in development time – that sounds pretty good to me.
