Teaming Up for an Informative xTCA Webinar
byBrian WoodContinuous Computing, CP-TA Marketing Work Group Chair - Wed, Jun 24, 2009 at 5:00 PM

Folks, we’ve got a great webinar cued up for next Tuesday, June 30 at 11 am PT / 2 pm ET called “Fine-tuning xTCA: What’s New with xTCA?” Click here to register.

Headlining the webinar is none other than Lee Doyle, lead ATCA analyst at market research firm IDC. Nobody knows the xTCA industry and Tier 1 operator and network equipment provider (NEP) adoption trends quite like Lee. It should be an interesting and informative analysis – not only of ATCA and telecom, but of AMC, MicroTCA, military, aerospace, and data center adoption too.

Next on the agenda is our very own Sven Freudenfeld, CP-TA President. He’s going to cover what CP-TA has been doing for xTCA interoperability across vertical markets; why increased interoperability makes buying xTCA from the ecosystem a more attractive option for NEPs than making xTCA; and why ecosystem companies should become members of CP-TA.

Then Leslie Guth, co-marketing chair of SCOPE Alliance, will describe how the work being done by CP-TA is precisely in line with what operators and Tier 1 vendors seek from the ecosystem. She’ll reiterate that NEPs’ time is better served focusing on applications than the underlying standards-based xTCA platform.

Lastly, Joe Pavlat, PICMG President, will outline xTCA’s expansion into the military, aerospace, and data center markets and how CP-TA’s interoperability work meshes with what PICMG is doing.

It’s a great lineup with a timely, relevant topic. Please spread the word amongst your colleagues, customers, and suppliers – and click here to register.

Remember: it’s up to US to evangelize CP-TA and our xTCA interoperability work.

“See” you next Tuesday at 11 am PT / 2 pm ET!

Brian
